Submitting Actions

This is a new feature in Qpawn that has replaced the legislature! Players are no longer required to write what they want to achieve in statutory form. This is done in order to increase the amount of detail that can be put into actions. You can maintain the previous form if you would like, but you will still have to submit the action into the catcher. Please note that actions can be submitted in two ways: one, through the catcher (where most of them will go), and two, through your national news (when you simply want to write the article itself). Both require moderator approval, and both will first be reviewed before results are granted. The second option is preferred for smaller matters which may not merit a breaking news story worldwide.
In order to distinguish between a national news section post that is simply a post, and an action, please place "ACTION" in the heading in capital, bold, and red letters. This will ensure that the approving moderator will not miss that this is an action and requires results. Only domestic matters can be submitted as actions through the national news section. Elections and changes in leadership must be submitted through the action catcher.
Action Catcher
The action catcher is more relevant as it represents the more pressing and influential actions which will power the round. This is where you make the big policy changes after a step-by-step of position changing and careful roleplay elsewhere. It is preferred by moderators if you create threads for action categories: technology, military, economic, international, domestic, intelligence. You do not have to follow this format however.
Once you have written your action you have to post the link in the appropriate action catcher. Only one action per nation per catcher is allowed at any one time. The general turnaround time for actions will be 24-48 hours. Including a news article with your action which is grammatically correct and, preferably, unbias, will expedite the processing time of your action considerably. Please note that when you post the link in the catcher, others may click on it, but they do not have access to your national page, and thus cannot see what is on the other end of that link. Once the action is processed the post will be deleted by the processing moderator. It is standard procedure to provide some sort of feedback/information on each action after processing. It is imperative that players do NOT delete or otherwise edit the action after processing. It is important for moderators to have access to those actions. If you delete it, the results will have to be reversed and the action will no longer be valid.
